Job Summary
The Hospital Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective healthcare services. This role involves managing staff, budgets, regulatory compliance, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency while supporting the hospital's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hospital departments.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols.
Manage hospital budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
Supervise administrative and clinical support staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor patient care quality and implement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction.
Coordinate with physicians, department heads, and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Analyze operational and financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
Lead quality improvement, risk management, and infection control initiatives.
Ensure the availability and maintenance of hospital equipment, supplies, and facilities.
Develop emergency preparedness and disaster management plans.
Represent the hospital in meetings with government agencies, healthcare partners, and the community.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in BA,BSc,B.Com
Master's degree in MA, MS,MBA
1–10 years of experience in hospital or healthcare management, including supervisory responsibilities.
