Shilton Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and smooth functioning of all engineering systems within the hotel/club. The role involves ensuring the efficient operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical equipment, and building infrastructure while maintaining high safety standards and delivering an uninterrupted guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of hotel engineering systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, DG sets, STP, WTP, elevators, and fire & life safety systems.
- Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules are effectively implemented.
- Monitor the functioning of all plant and machinery to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, kitchens, banquet halls, and back-of-house facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance technicians, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and engineering SOPs.
- Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, diesel, LPG) and implement energy-saving initiatives.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, service schedules, and AMC contracts.
- Coordinate with procurement for spare parts, tools, and engineering materials.
- Prepare maintenance budgets and monitor engineering expenses.
- Support renovation, refurbishment, and new project activities as required.
- Ensure all engineering equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with fire safety norms.
- Coordinate with government authorities and external agencies for statutory inspections and approvals.
- Train and guide engineering staff on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in hotel, club, resort, or hospitality engineering and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire safety systems, DG sets, and building maintenance.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance related to hotel engineering operations.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and respond to emergency maintenance situations.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
