Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.
· Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to achieve the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
· Manage end-to-end procurement activities including raising Purchase Orders (POs), obtaining quotations, comparative analysis, order placement, and follow-up.
· Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials for hospitality operations, restaurants, construction projects, and corporate offices.
· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Stores, Operations, Kitchen, Engineering, and Project teams to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
· Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, cost-saving opportunities, and innovative products.
· Negotiate annual contracts, rate agreements, and payment terms with suppliers.
· Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budgets, and approval matrices.
· Coordinate with Accounts for timely invoice verification, GRN reconciliation, and vendor payment processing.
· Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, purchase registers, and documentation.
· Track procurement KPIs such as cost savings, lead time, supplier performance, and purchase cycle efficiency.
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, quality standards, and company SOPs.
· Resolve supplier-related issues including quality concerns, delivery delays, shortages, and disputes.
· Prepare periodic MIS reports on procurement activities, purchase trends, vendor performance, and budget utilization.
· Lead and mentor the procurement team while driving continuous process improvements.
· Coordinate procurement across multiple business units and locations as required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· 8 -10 years of experience in procurement in construction, or real estate.
· Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Inventory Management Software, and procurement systems.
· Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
