A Tender and Estimation Head leads the bid management and cost estimation processes to secure profitable contracts. They analyze technical specifications, oversee quantity takeoffs, manage vendor negotiations, and ensure accurate, competitive bid submissions that align with company margins and project execution plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Bid Strategy & Tendering: Lead the end-to-end tendering lifecycle from initial inquiry to final submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements and e-bidding portals.
- Cost Estimation: Review drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and specifications to generate accurate estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Issue inquiries, evaluate quotations, and conduct price negotiations to secure the most competitive rates.
- Risk Analysis & Value Engineering: Identify potential risks in bids and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize quantities and costs for lump-sum or turnkey contracts.
- Management & Approvals: Prepare comprehensive pre-bid summaries for executive management approval and represent the company in pre-bid meetings.
Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
