Housekeeping Manager – Job Description
Position: Housekeeping Manager
Location : Saharanpur
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure cleanliness standards across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Plan, organize, and supervise housekeeping staff schedules and assignments.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and hotel premises to maintain quality standards.
- Ensure timely room readiness and coordinate with Front Office for guest arrivals and departures.
- Manage housekeeping inventory, linen, guest supplies, and cleaning equipment.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping team members.
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards as per hotel policies.
- Control departmental expenses and optimize manpower utilization.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for smooth hotel operations.
Requirements:
- Graduate/Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- 5–10+ years of experience in Housekeeping operations, with supervisory/managerial experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and guest-handling abilities.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, inventory control, and quality standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Willing to relocate.
