About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager – Business Development (3PL Operations) to drive business growth and expand our warehousing and third-party logistics (3PL) operations across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The ideal candidate should possess strong business development capabilities, extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, and the ability to establish and manage end-to-end logistics operations while building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives to acquire new 3PL and warehousing customers across the assigned territory.
- Independently manage the complete business development lifecycle, from lead generation to customer acquisition and account management.
- Identify suitable warehouse spaces based on customer requirements and coordinate with warehouse owners, leasing partners, and 3PL service providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-sized and large enterprise customers across various industries.
- Lead customer onboarding, operational transition, and implementation to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and standardize operational processes for warehouse and logistics operations.
- Build, mentor, and manage operations teams, vendors, warehouse partners, and field staff.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of customer requirements and operational excellence.
- Monitor operational performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous process improvement.
- Ensure effective utilization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and operational tools for efficient warehouse management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in Business Development within the 3PL, Warehousing, Supply Chain, or Logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, 3PL services, transportation, and supply chain processes.
- Proven experience in acquiring and managing mid-sized and large enterprise customers.
- Strong network with warehouse owners, leasing partners, industrial park developers, and 3PL service providers.
- Hands-on experience in warehouse setup, customer onboarding, operational transition, and process implementation.
- Experience in building and managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and ground operations.
- Good working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics technology platforms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
