Position: Welder-cum-Gas Cutter

Job Responsibilities
- Perform ARC/MIG welding and gas cutting work as per production requirements.
- Carry out welding, fabrication, cutting, fitting, and repair activities.
- Work on forging and fabricated components, structures, and machinery parts.
- Operate oxy-acetylene gas cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform repair and maintenance welding in the forging and fabrication shop.
- Read basic engineering drawings, dimensions, and welding requirements.
- Ensure proper alignment, welding quality, finishing, and dimensional accuracy.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, gas-cutting sets, and related tools.
- Follow hot-work safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain welding and gas-cutting equipment in good working condition.
Candidate Requirements
- ITI/Trade Certificate in Welder preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Forging and Fabrication industries.
- Strong hands-on experience in welding and gas cutting.
- Knowledge of ARC/MIG welding and oxy-acetylene gas cutting.
- Experience in heavy fabrication, forging components, machinery repair, and maintenance will be preferred.
- Good understanding of industrial safety and hot-work practices.
