About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and empathetic School Counselor to support the academic, social, emotional, and career development needs of students in a CBSE school. The counselor will work in alignment with CBSE guidelines on student well-being, inclusive education, life skills, and career guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to students for emotional, behavioral, academic, and social concerns.
- Support students in developing resilience, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills.
- Conduct career guidance and aptitude-based counseling for secondary and senior secondary students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to address student needs and improve learning outcomes.
- Design and conduct life-skills, mental health awareness, stress management, and wellness programs.
- Support students with special educational needs and coordinate referrals to external professionals when required.
- Assist in crisis intervention and safeguarding student welfare.
- Maintain confidential counseling records and prepare reports as required by the school.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment.
- Stay updated with CBSE counseling initiatives, adolescent education programs, and student support guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Child Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional certification/diploma in Counseling is preferred.
- Candidate with Experience in CBSE will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant counseling experience.
- Experience working with school-age children and adolescents.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
