Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify new market opportunities, acquire new B2B clients, and execute territory growth plans. [1]
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets. [1]
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, lead, and motivate sales representatives and channel partners. [1, 2, 3]
- Client Relationship Management: Manage key accounts, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with technical teams to provide tailored chemical solutions. [1, 2]
- Order Execution & Logistics: Coordinate with logistics, production, and import/export teams to ensure timely delivery and manage receivables. [1, 2, 3]
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and regulatory changes (e.g., HSE compliance) to adjust sales strategies. [1, 2]
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant science field. An MBA in Marketing is typically preferred for managerial roles. [1, 2]
- Experience: Usually 5–10 years of progressive B2B sales experience within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing industries. [1, 2, 3]
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of chemical formulas, industrial applications, and manufacturing processes. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
