Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support the Sales & Marketing team in managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating sales activities, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, sales representatives, and internal departments. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support
- Prepare and process quotations, proposals, and sales orders.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up on leads and inquiries.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
- Assist in achieving sales targets through effective coordination and support.
Customer Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and order status updates.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Order Processing & Documentation
- Process sales orders and ensure accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
- Maintain records of contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and other sales-related documents.
Reporting & MIS
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales performance and provide updates to management.
- Maintain CRM data and ensure information accuracy.
Marketing Coordination
- Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials and product information.
- Monitor and track leads generated through marketing activities.
Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings, customer visits, and sales presentations.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation systems.
- Assist management with various sales and marketing administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales Coordination, Customer Service, or Sales Support.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or B2B sales environments preferred.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales reporting.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely processing of quotations and orders.
- Customer response and resolution time.
- Accuracy of sales records and reports.
- Lead tracking and follow-up effectiveness.
- Customer satisfaction and retention.
Salary: As per company standards and candidate experience.
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Industrial / FMCG / B2B Sales.
