About the role:
The individual is expected to source ingredients, raw materials, and chemicals from India, China & other competitive markets to support the growing demands in the Nutrition & API business. Key skills include having multiple sources of suppliers, negotiating for the best deals, ensuring quality materials at optimum costs, budget adherence, supplier relationship among others.
Key Job Responsibilities:

Source ingredients, raw materials, and chemicals from India, China & other competitive markets at the right time & right cost.

Develop an alternate vendor strategy to ensure continuity of supplies, without impacting quality.

Optimum cost management and adherence to budgets.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost optimization

Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the business

Familiarity with global sourcing and international business practices. Sourcing & procurement of raw materials for Regulatory & Non-Regulatory Markets

Identifying, evaluating, and acquiring the necessary goods, services, or materials for an organization to meet its operational needs and strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Documentation Support to internal departments – As per regulatory guidelines
- Resolving payment and other vendor related query, negotiation.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate them into sourcing strategies.
Job Specification:
- Proven experience and expertise in strategic procurement of ingredients & raw materials from the India & China markets
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
- SAP Knowledge is a must.
Strong negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualification: Any Degree / MBA (Supply Chain Management)
Experience: 18-25 years’ overall experience with at least last 10-12 years in Procurement of similar materials.
