Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including GST registration, amendments, and cancellation, along with timely preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and other applicable GST returns for all branches and subsidiaries.
- Prepare GST sales registers, input registers, RCM registers, and other statutory data required for return filing. Review and validate GST workings before filing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase records, identify ITC mismatches, coordinate with vendors for rectification, and ensure timely availability of eligible input tax credit.
- Handle GST, Income Tax, TDS, TCS, VAT, and other statutory compliance activities, including preparation of monthly workings, reconciliations, returns, payment schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare TDS (Sections 194Q, 194R, and other applicable provisions) and TCS workings, ensure timely deduction, payment, return filing, and resolution of departmental or consultant queries.
- Coordinate with tax consultants on GST, Income Tax, TDS, TCS, and other regulatory matters to ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare data and supporting documents for statutory audits, tax audits, GST audits, stock audits, internal audits, and departmental assessments. Attend hearings, coordinate with auditors and government authorities, submit replies to notices, and ensure timely closure of assessments and audit observations.
- Visit manufacturing plants whenever required to collect financial, inventory, and operational data for audits, assessments, statutory reporting, and management requirements.
- Prepare quarterly VAT incentive data, maintain proper records, submit applications to the concerned authorities, and ensure compliance with applicable incentive schemes.
- Maintain complete records of statutory notices, assessment orders, litigation matters, departmental communications, and MIS related to pending legal and compliance matters.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and support period-end and year-end closing activities, including ledger scrutiny, journal entries, provisions, depreciation, accruals, GST adjustments, and reconciliation of key accounts.
- Conduct detailed review of general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of accounting records, compliance with accounting standards, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, cash flow statements, financial MIS, and other management reports to support business decision-making.
- Prepare monthly sales registers, sales MIS, plant-wise and product-wise consumption reports, inventory reports, stock movement analysis, and other operational reports as required by management.
- Prepare stock statements, FFR, quarterly certificates, renewal documentation, and other financial information required by banks. Coordinate with banks for renewal of credit facilities, submission of financial information, and timely closure of bank-related queries.
- Prepare data required for credit rating exercises and coordinate with financial institutions for successful completion of rating assignments.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register, calculate monthly depreciation, record interest income on fixed deposits, prepare accounting schedules, and pass all related accounting entries in the ERP system (Munim).
- Record and monitor accounting entries related to stock adjustments, stock transfers, stock conversion, raw material stock, finished goods stock, GST adjustments, provisions, PF, ESIC, GLWF, and other monthly accounting transactions.
- Prepare supplier reconciliation statements, resolve outstanding differences with vendors, and coordinate with plant teams and other departments for timely closure of reconciliation issues.
- Coordinate with plant teams for preparation of DG set consumption data, electricity duty calculations, payment processing, and filing of electricity duty returns for all manufacturing locations.
- Monitor inventory transactions, verify finished goods and raw material stock records, review stock transfer entries, and ensure accuracy of inventory accounting.
- Coordinate with the IT department for ERP master creation, system corrections, report development, automation initiatives, and timely resolution of accounting system issues.
- Create and maintain supplier master records and ensure accuracy of financial master data in the ERP system.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely submission of invoices, supporting documents, financial information, and compliance-related data.
- Supervise and guide subordinate team members, monitor completion of routine accounting activities, and ensure adherence to timelines and internal controls.
- Prepare various periodic MIS reports, financial analyses, compliance reports, and business performance reports as required by senior management.
- Ensure proper maintenance of statutory records, accounting documents, supporting schedules, audit files, and compliance documentation for future reference and regulatory inspections.
- Resolve day-to-day accounting, finance, taxation, banking, and compliance-related issues while providing support to internal stakeholders across functions.
- Perform any other duties, assignments, or responsibilities related to Accounts, Finance, Taxation, Audit, Compliance, Banking, or MIS as assigned by the Head of Department.
Pay: Up to ₹120,000.00 per month
