Job Title: Design Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products from concept through production. This role requires strong CAD skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand product requirements, technical specifications, and project objectives.
- Develop innovative design concepts for new products and enhance existing products based on customer needs and engineering standards.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Develop and evaluate physical or virtual prototypes to validate design concepts.
- Perform engineering simulations and analyses, including structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics, to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Design, plan, and execute prototype testing to verify functionality, durability, and safety.
- Analyse test results and customer feedback to optimise product designs and implement improvements.
- Present design concepts to clients, gather feedback, and incorporate necessary design modifications.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including design specifications, test reports, BOMs, revision histories, and technical documentation.
- Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of design milestones and project deliverables.
- Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure designs are production-ready and cost-effective.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in Design Engineering and Product Design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
