Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with strong experience in 2D drafting and 3D modelling for real estate and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, detailed plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models in coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D architectural and construction drawings based on design concepts and project requirements.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, working drawings, and detailed drawings.
- Create and update 3D models for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare 3D views, layouts, and presentations to support design development and client presentations.
- Convert design concepts and sketches into detailed CAD drawings.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing, and MEP drawings.
- Make revisions to drawings based on comments from architects, engineers, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure all drawings are prepared according to approved designs, specifications, and company standards.
- Prepare detailed drawings for construction and site execution.
- Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, annotations, and detailing.
- Maintain proper drawing files, revisions, and document control.
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
- Participate in site visits when required to understand site conditions and incorporate necessary changes.
- Assist architects and engineers in preparing BOQ-related drawings and project documentation.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on completed site works.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings as per project schedules.
- Maintain drawing standards, layer management, naming conventions, and file organization.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in real estate, construction, architecture, or interior projects.
- Strong experience in both 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction detailing.
