Position: Bharatanatyam Dance Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Bharatanatyam classes for students of different age groups and skill levels.
- Prepare students for annual functions, competitions, cultural events, and stage performances.
- Train students for Prayag Sangeet Samiti examinations, including practical, theory, and viva preparation.
- Plan and deliver structured lessons based on the prescribed curriculum.
- Develop students' rhythm, expressions (Abhinaya), posture, discipline, and stage confidence.
- Maintain attendance, lesson plans, and student progress records.
- Coordinate with school authorities for cultural programs and events.
- Ensure a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.
- Support Skill Enrichment classes and promote interest in Indian classical dance.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Bharatanatyam from a recognized institution.
- Certification from Prayag Sangeet Samiti or an equivalent recognized board is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in a school or dance academy is desirable.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Bharatanatyam techniques, theory, and performance.
- Ability to choreograph performances for school events.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Ability to inspire creativity while maintaining discipline.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
