Senior/Lead Frontend Engineer will own end‑to‑end delivery of key UI flows for shipping and fulfilment web applications in React—from early UX/wireframing (no‑designer setup) to production release. The role focuses on building scalable, high‑performance, maintainable frontend integrated with backend APIs and event‑driven systems, while improving delivery efficiency with AI‑assisted tooling without compromising quality.
- Strong hands-on experience with React (TypeScript preferred).
- Proven experience building complex, production-grade web applications.
- Experience integrating frontend with APIs (REST/JSON; event-driven knowledge is a plus).
- Experience with wireframing / UX definition prior to implementation.
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with AWS-hosted applications and CI/CD-driven deployments.
- Strong ownership mindset with ability to deliver with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments without dedicated UX/UI support.
- Excellent communication skills with consistent status updates and proactive mindset.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Codex, Copilot, or similar) in daily development workflows.
- Design, build, and deliver key UI flows for shipping and fulfillment web applications using React
- Own frontend delivery end-to-end: from wireframing to implementation and production release.
- Create wireframes and UX flows upfront (no-designer setup) to align with stakeholders before development.
- Integrate frontend with backend APIs (.NET-based services, event-driven flows).
- Ensure high-quality, maintainable code with minimal rework and predictable delivery.
- Collaborate closely with in-house Lead Frontend and Backend Engineers.
- Optimize frontend performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Support deployment and release processes in collaboration with DevOps.
- Proactively communicate progress, blockers, and propose improvements.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude/Cursor/Codex/Copilot, AI IDE features) to improve development speed without losing quality.
