Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to handle billing and customer transactions efficiently. The role involves managing cash, ensuring accurate billing, and providing a smooth checkout experience to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle billing and invoicing using the POS system
- Receive payments via cash, UPI, card, or other modes
- Ensure accurate cash handling and daily cash reconciliation
- Maintain proper records of transactions and bills
- Provide excellent customer service at the billing counter
- Assist customers with basic queries related to billing
- Coordinate with sales staff for smooth checkout operations
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the billing area
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the Store Manager
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Graduate
- 0–3 years of experience as a cashier or in retail (freshers can apply)
- Basic knowledge of billing systems/POS
- Good numerical and calculation skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented
