Job Description – Biochemistry Lab Assistant

Key Responsibilities
- Measure, weigh, prepare, and mix chemicals and reagents accurately.
- Perform filling, labeling, and packaging of biochemistry reagents.
- Receive, label, sort, and sample raw materials and reagents.
- Operate laboratory equipment such as weighing balances, pH meters, burettes, and pipettes.
- Maintain batch records, inventory, and daily laboratory logs.
- Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas.
- Follow GLP, GMP, biosafety, and chemical hygiene practices.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and reagent handling.
- Strong understanding of GLP and laboratory safety procedures.
- Good pipetting skills and knowledge of dilution calculations.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in a biochemistry, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device laboratory.
- Experience in reagent manufacturing, diagnostic kit production, or laboratory operations will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Salary: 18,000-20,000
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
