We’re looking for a skilled video editor to edit short-form and long-form videos for a growing content channel.
This is a work-from-office role based in Thiruvananthapuram. This is not a work-from-home or remote position.
The Role involves:
- Editing engaging short-form and long-form videos
- Working from our studio/office in Thiruvananthapuram
- Creating audience-retentive edits for social media platforms
- Adding suitable cuts, music, captions, transitions, sound effects, and basic graphics
- Understanding reference videos and adapting the editing style accordingly
- Contributing creative ideas to improve video quality and channel performance
What we’re looking for:
- Strong video editing skills
- Good sense of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling
- Knowledge of tools like Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software
- Ability to understand social media trends and retention-based editing
- Understanding of color correction, sound cleanup, and captioning
- Good understanding of sfx and foley sound usage.
- Ability to work consistently from office in Thiruvananthapuram
Compensation & Duration
- Initial contract: 3 months
- Location: Thiruvananthapuram
- Work mode: Work from office only
If the performance matches expectation in the initial period, this can convert into a long term engagement.
