Job Summary
Supervise daily operations of automatic powder coating division of our manufacturing plant. Responsible for all operations from planning to dispatch including quality and maintenance. Experience in powder coating required.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan production as per production plan, inform production manager when production is completed, check quality of material before and after coating, ensure proper pre-treatment, check colour of each item from Work Orders, ensure coating is completed before deadlines set by production manager, continuously monitor and control quality and thickness of powder coating, send all coated items to Packing section, maintain powder coating area clean, perform regular maintenance of all powder coating equipment, planning of preventive maintenance activities, achieve daily production schedule targets as set by production manager and record, follow of any rework of material after approval from production manager, conducting on-the-job-training (OJT) for production operators and supervisors, maintain 5S and housekeeping, performance monitoring of workers & supervisors, maintain good safety of workers and work environment, performance monitoring of workers & supervisors,
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma in production or equivalent
- About 1 to 2 years of experience in production / industrial management
- Act independently
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in Powder Coating
