Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Take-Off Engineer (Fresher to 5-years)
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented fresher to join our team as a Quantity Surveyor / Take-Off Engineer. The candidate will assist in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and basic cost estimation for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing quantity take-offs from drawings (architectural & structural)
- Support in preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
- Study drawings and project specifications
- Assist in cost estimation and rate analysis
- Coordinate with site and procurement teams
- Maintain records of quantities and materials
- Support in vendor comparison and documentation
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings
- Understanding of BOQ and estimation concepts
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience
- Freshers can apply
- Internship experience in QS/Estimation is an added advantage
Location Requirement
- Candidate should be based in Tamil Nadu
- Must be willing to work in Chennai
