Job Summary
D'LIFE Home Interiors is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer – Interior Design to develop functional, aesthetically appealing, and technically feasible residential interior designs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of space planning, modular furniture design, material selection, and execution coordination to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand their design requirements, lifestyle, budget, and preferences.
- Prepare concept designs, space planning, and layout options for residential interiors.
- Develop detailed 2D drawings, working drawings, and 3D designs.
- Create modular furniture designs for kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, bedrooms, and living spaces.
- Prepare detailed production drawings and coordinate with the factory and execution teams.
- Select materials, finishes, colors, lighting, and accessories based on client requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and Site Teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth execution.
- Attend site visits for measurements, design validation, and issue resolution.
- Revise designs based on client feedback while maintaining functionality and project timelines.
- Ensure all designs comply with company standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
- Support the sales team during client presentations and design discussions.
- Maintain project documentation, design files, and revision records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in residential interior design, preferably in modular or turnkey interior projects.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of residential interior design principles and space planning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar 3D visualization software.
- Good understanding of modular furniture design and production drawings.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware, and interior execution.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client-handling skills.
- Strong creativity with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
