A moulding operator sets up, operates, and monitors machinery to produce plastic or metal parts, ensuring they meet quality standards. Key duties include setting machine parameters, loading raw materials, trimming finished products, performing routine maintenance, and documenting production data. - Machine Operation & Setup: Operate injection or blow molding machines, setting up molds, temperatures, pressures, and cycle times according to specifications.
- Quality Inspection: Visually inspect finished products for defects (flashes, short shots, contamination) and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Production & Efficiency: Monitor machines during operation to ensure continuous, efficient production, minimizing scrap.
- Material Handling: Load raw materials (resin, plastic pellets) into hoppers and manage material hoists.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance, keep the work area clean, and adhere strictly to safety, health, and environmental protocols.

Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, specifically with injection molding machines, is often preferred, but many roles are open to trainees.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of plastic materials, blueprint reading, and mechanical aptitude.
- Physical Ability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift heavy materials, and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts (day/night)
