Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist with 3+ years of hands-on experience in search engine optimization. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be capable of handling multiple projects efficiently. Prior experience in a digital marketing agency is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
- Perform comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog articles to improve search rankings.
- Conduct regular website audits and recommend technical SEO improvements.
- Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Build and execute high-quality link-building strategies.
- Track, analyze, and report SEO performance metrics with actionable insights.
- Stay updated with Google's algorithm changes and emerging SEO trends.
- Collaborate with content writers, developers, and the digital marketing team to execute SEO initiatives.
- Ensure all SEO activities follow search engine guidelines and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of proven experience in SEO.
- Strong knowledge of current SEO trends, ranking factors, and search engine algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of technical SEO concepts including Core Web Vitals, schema markup, indexing, crawling, and website architecture.
- Experience with keyword research, content optimization, and backlink analysis.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a digital marketing agency is highly preferred.
- Google certifications or SEO-related certifications will be an added advantage.
