Role Overview
We are hiring a Short-Form Video Editor Intern / Junior Editor who can create clean, attractive, and engaging short videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media ads. This role is suitable for freshers or beginners who have good editing sense, understand Instagram trends, and are willing to learn fast. You do not need to be an expert, but you should have basic editing knowledge and a strong interest in reels, trends, captions, transitions, and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
· Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and short-form videos.
· Add captions, subtitles, hooks, transitions, music, effects, and basic motion.
· Create reels using raw clips, images, AI-generated visuals, and brand assets.
· Edit videos in CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, Filmora, or similar tools.
· Follow reel scripts, shot sequences, and creative direction given by the team.
· Make videos engaging within the first 3 seconds.
· Repurpose long videos into short clips.
· Create basic thumbnails or cover frames when required.
· Maintain brand style and quality for different clients.
· Deliver edits on time as per daily or weekly task schedule.
· Take feedback and revise videos quickly.
· Stay updated with Instagram trends, reel formats, audios, and editing styles.
Required Skills
· Basic knowledge of short-form video editing.
· Good understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
· Ability to add subtitles and captions neatly.
· Basic knowledge of transitions, zoom effects, cuts, music sync, and hooks.
· Creative thinking and willingness to learn.
· Good attention to detail.
· Ability to follow instructions properly.
· Basic understanding of Kannada + English content is preferred.
· Must be comfortable working with social media content.
Editing Tools Preferred

· VN Video Editor
· Canva
· Filmora
· Mobile or laptop editing tools
Note: CapCut knowledge is highly preferred.

· Candidates who can understand Kannada + English content are preferred.
Must Have
· Portfolio or sample edits.
· Minimum 3 short-form videos edited by the candidate.
· Own laptop or good editing device preferred.
· Good internet connection.
· Willingness to do a sample editing task.
Good to Have
· Knowledge of Instagram trends.
· Basic design sense and Canva knowledge.
· Basic social media understanding.
· Ability to edit reels for brands, creators, and local businesses.
· Ability to work with AI-generated images and convert them into reels using CapCut.
Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
