Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined components, fabricated parts, and assembled machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to verify dimensional and quality requirements.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Dial Indicators, and Thread Gauges. Identify quality issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), rejection reports, and rework records.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering specifications, and company procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, and Assembly teams to resolve quality concerns and improve product quality.
- Evaluate supplier quality through incoming material inspections, supplier audits, and vendor performance monitoring.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure all measuring instruments are calibrated and traceable.
- Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in Quality Control within Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Machine Building, Precision Manufacturing, or Industrial Automation.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
