We requires a very senior professional — someone with 15 to 20 years of experience in the recovery department. Typically, such a role would be positioned at a senior leadership level in banks, NBFCs, where recovery of loans, debts, or assets is critical.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Recovery & Debt Collection
○ Monitor and recover outstanding advertisement payments.
○Coordinate with local authorities, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth recovery operations.
○ Follow up with clients via Personnel visit make calls, emails, and send legal notices.
○ Implement collection strategies to reduce aged receivables.
○ Negotiate payment plans with defaulting clients.
2. Client Relationship Management
○ Maintain professional relationships with advertisers while ensuring payment compliance as per company norms.
○ Resolve disputes or billing discrepancies timely.
○Handling of Government Advertisement Recovery
3. Co-ordination with Internal Teams
○ Coordinate with finance and sales, Legal teams to ensure accurate billing.
○ Ensure correct invoicing and documentation.
○ Track and report outstanding receivables.
4. Legal & Compliance Follow-up
○ Take care Initiate legal procedures for long-overdue accounts when necessary.
○ Ensure adherence to company credit and recovery policies.
5. Reporting & Documentation
○ Maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports on outstanding recoveries.
○ Present monthly recovery status reports for management.
○ Submitting a Team Employee Daily Recovery Work Report to the MIS.
○ Maintain daily and monthly report cards for the Recovery team.
○ Regularly assess team performance and provide feedback for improvement
6. Documentation
○ Ensure proper documentation of all recovery communications.
○ Archive payment records and recovery status systematically.
7. Team Size Optimization & Cost Control
○ Evaluate the team’s performance regularly and maintain an optimal team size to ensure cost-effectiveness.
○ Recommend hiring or releasing staff based on workload, performance, and departmental goals.
