Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate VMC machines to perform machining operations such as drilling, milling, tapping, and boring.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Select and install appropriate tools, fixtures, and attachments.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations.
- Perform basic CNC programming edits and offsets (if required).
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, etc.).
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
- Maintain production records and report issues to the supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 0–5 years of experience operating VMC machines (as required).
- Knowledge of G-code, M-code basics (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good understanding of machining processes and tooling.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in shifts.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
