1. Operations Management
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the bodyshop.
- Allocate repair jobs to technicians based on skill level and workload.
- Monitor repair progress and ensure adherence to promised delivery timelines.
- Ensure all repairs are carried out according to OEM and company standards.
- Coordinate with insurance surveyors, estimators, procurement, and service advisors.
2. Team Management
- Supervise body technicians, painters, denters, helpers, and detailers.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and work allocation.
- Monitor employee productivity and attendance.
- Coach and mentor technicians to improve technical competency.
- Ensure discipline and compliance with company policies.
3. Quality Control
- Inspect vehicles at various stages of repair.
- Ensure zero rework through strict quality checks.
- Conduct final quality inspection before vehicle delivery.
- Ensure customer complaints related to workmanship are resolved promptly.
4. Productivity & Efficiency
- Improve technician efficiency and bay utilization.
- Minimize idle time and optimize workflow.
- Monitor job completion against estimated labor hours.
- Reduce repair cycle time and increase throughput.
5. Customer Satisfaction
- Support service advisors in explaining repair status.
- Handle customer escalations related to body repairs.
- Ensure on-time vehicle delivery with quality workmanship.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
6. Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor paint and consumable usage.
- Prevent material wastage.
- Coordinate with stores for timely availability of spare parts.
- Control repair costs while maintaining quality.
7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S standards within the workshop.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE by all employees.
- Follow environmental regulations regarding paint and hazardous waste disposal.
8. Reporting
- Prepare daily workshop productivity reports.
- Track pending vehicles and repair status.
- Report technician productivity and efficiency.
- Submit weekly and monthly operational reports to the Bodyshop Manager.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
