Your future duties and responsibilities
Test Environment Management
Ensure availability, stability, and readiness of test environments for project and release activities.
Perform regular environment health checks and proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact testing.
Support deployment of application changes across various test environments.
Manage environment schedules, capacity planning, and usage forecasts to avoid conflicts across multiple projects.
Monitor and track environment availability metrics and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs.
Incident & Change Management
Act as the primary escalation point for complex environment-related issues.
Coordinate incident resolution activities with application, infrastructure, middleware, database, and vendor teams.
Manage and track environment-related incidents, changes, deployments, and outages.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Support change planning, deployment scheduling, and release coordination activities.
Test Planning & Coordination
Collaborate with QA, Development, Infrastructure, and Business teams to support testing requirements.
Plan and coordinate environment readiness for end-to-end, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
Analyze testing schedules and environment dependencies to ensure successful test execution.
Manage competing priorities and re-plan testing activities during outages or business-critical changes.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Identify opportunities to improve test environment management processes and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement solutions for recurring environment issues.
Prepare risk assessments and communicate impacts to stakeholders with recommended mitigation plans.
Participate in monthly environment health reviews and operational reporting.
Maintain accurate environment inventory and configuration information.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Test Environment Management (TEM).
Experience with Incident Management, Change Management, and Release Management processes.
Hands-on experience with deployment coordination and environment support.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Understanding of application architecture, infrastructure, databases, middleware, and networking concepts.
Experience managing end-to-end testing environments.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must Have Skills
6+ years of experience in Test Environment Management (TEM) or Environment Support.
Strong experience in Incident Management, Change Management, and Release/Deployment Coordination.
Hands-on experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps (ADO).
Experience in managing and supporting test environments across multiple applications/projects.
Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
Experience performing environment health checks, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
Experience coordinating with QA, Development, Infrastructure, Database, Middleware, and Vendor teams.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in planning and scheduling testing activities, ensuring environment and test data availability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work during critical release windows.
Good to Have Skills
Experience in Capital Markets domain.
Banking and Financial Services industry experience.
Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
Understanding of application architecture, networking, middleware, databases, and cloud platforms.
Experience in End-to-End (E2E), Integration, UAT, and Regression testing support.
Exposure to environment capacity planning, forecasting, and utilization reporting.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience working with geographically distributed teams and external vendors.
Automation or scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Shell, Python, etc.) for environment monitoring and support.
