Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the school premises to ensure a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning & Maintenance
- Sweep, mop, and clean classrooms, corridors, offices, and common areas daily
- Dust furniture, fixtures, windows, and equipment
- Clean and sanitize washrooms regularly
- Ensure proper disposal of waste in designated bins
2. Hygiene & Sanitation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the campus
- Refill consumables such as soap, tissue papers, and sanitizers
- Follow health and safety guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals
3. Support Duties
- Assist in setting up rooms for school events, meetings, or activities
- Help in shifting furniture or materials when required
- Support staff and teachers with basic assistance tasks
4. Monitoring & Reporting
- Report any damages, repairs, or maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Inform about shortage of cleaning materials or supplies
5. Safety & Discipline
- Follow school policies, discipline, and safety protocols
- Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Maintain punctuality and regular attendance
Skills & Requirements:
- Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Responsible, honest, and disciplined
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Prior experience in housekeeping (preferred but not mandatory)
Working Conditions:
- Full-time role
- Work may involve standing, bending, and lifting
- May be required to work during school events or extended hours if needed
Additional Requirements:
- Police Verification is mandatory
- Compliance with school policies including child safety norms (POCSO awareness)

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
