Position: Site Engineer

Job Summary:
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day construction activities at project sites, ensuring that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience in managing large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor all site construction activities to ensure timely project execution.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management review.
- Verify measurements, bills, and work completion records of contractors and subcontractors.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and resources at site.
- Coordinate with the procurement and store teams for timely availability of construction materials.
- Monitor quality control activities and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure implementation of safety procedures and statutory compliance at the project site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues arising during construction.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure quality workmanship and defect-free execution.
- Manage project documentation, site records, and technical reports.
- Support project handover activities and coordinate snag rectification works.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and project execution.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent project coordination and team management skills.
- Knowledge of quality control, safety standards, and construction regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Construction / Real Estate projects.
- Experience in residential apartment, commercial building, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
- Proven experience in site execution, contractor management, and project coordination.
