Job Description
We are looking for a CATIA Design Engineer – Complete Seat with experience in automotive seating systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complete seat assemblies, including seat structure, foam, trim, plastics, headrest, armrest, recliner, tracks, and mechanisms using CATIA V5.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete automotive seat assemblies using CATIA V5.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
- Develop seat components including structure, foam, trim, plastics, recliners, tracks, armrests, and headrests.
- Coordinate with CAE, testing, manufacturing, suppliers, and OEM customers.
- Support design validation, engineering changes, and product development activities.
- Ensure compliance with GD&T, customer specifications, quality, cost, and automotive standards.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in complete automotive seat design.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5.
- Strong knowledge of automotive seating systems, sheet metal, plastics, foam, trim, and mechanisms.
- Good understanding of GD&T and automotive product development.
- Experience with OEM or Tier-1 automotive projects is preferred.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per month
