As a Power Integrity Engineer within our Digital Data Networks Business Unit, you will play a key role in simulating, developing, implementing, and verifying the power integrity of our innovative power solution portfolio. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, you will contribute to the design, validation, scaling, deployment, and support of cutting-edge data center power solutions.
We are seeking individuals who excel at turning ambiguous requirements into precise, highly constrained solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) design, exceptional simulation and lab measurement skills, and proven experience in designing and manufacturing power products.
As the Power Integrity Engineer, a typical day may include:
- Design, validate, and characterize power conversion and delivery systems for large compute infrastructure
- Develop power distribution products, such as cables, connectors, and bus bars, for 800+V, 20+kA server racks and data center applications
- Create simulation models, plan and execute simulation suites
- Correlate simulation results with measured lab data to validate models.
- Work with vendors to specify, procure, and validate new designs
- Measure and characterize AC response, parasitics, and impedance of the power products.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues by performing hands-on testing, debugging, and root cause analysis.
- Prepare detailed documentation and reports to support product development and validation
- Drive high-value development projects that will require you to lead and interface with large groups
- Manage technical collaboration with customers and align internal development efforts to meet technical and functional requirements.
