Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration and deployment of solutions, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise to maintain project momentum and quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams to align project goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve software development processes to enhance efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
- Experience with Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database management systems and query optimization.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our M2B - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
