About the Role
We are looking for a well-connected local individual, guide, broker, travel associate, or sales professional who can help bring tourists and visitors to our Banarasi saree manufacturing unit and showroom in Varanasi.
The role is focused on generating retail sales by introducing domestic and international tourists to our factory and saree collections. Visitors can experience the art of Banarasi saree weaving and manufacturing while exploring and purchasing authentic Banarasi sarees directly from the source.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have strong local networks in tourism, hospitality, travel, or visitor services.
Key Responsibilities
- Bring domestic and international tourists to our showroom and manufacturing facility.
- Promote factory visits and Banarasi saree experiences to visitors in Varanasi.
- Build relationships with hotels, guest houses, travel agents, tour operators, guides, and tourism businesses.
- Coordinate tourist visits and customer appointments.
- Explain the value of authentic Banarasi sarees and the weaving process.
- Generate retail sales through customer referrals and visits.
- Develop new channels to attract visitors and buyers.
Requirements
- Strong local network in Varanasi's tourism industry.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with tourists and visitors.
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, retail sales, guiding, or customer acquisition preferred.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented approach.
Compensation
- Commission-Based: Earn 15%–20% commission based on sales generated through your referrals.
- Fixed salary can also be discussed for suitable candidates.
