Keetup India Pvt. Ltd. is a fast-growing animal nutrition company. We manufacture and export fish feed, pet food, and alternate protein based feed ingredients to international markets. We are expanding our export operations and are looking for an Export Associate - Logistics to coordinate shipments, documentation, and communication with CHAs, forwarders, shipping lines, and internal teams.
Role Overview
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Export Associate to manage day-to-day coordination for export shipments. The person will work closely with our CHA, freight forwarders, transporters, shipping lines, factory team, accounts team, and customers to ensure smooth and timely export shipments.
This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience in export logistics, container bookings, shipping documents, and coordination with CHA/forwarders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with CHAs, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and CFS teams for export shipments.
- Handle FCL shipment coordination, including booking follow-ups, DO/CRO tracking, container planning, cut-off tracking, and vessel schedule updates.
- Coordinate movement of goods from factory/warehouse to port/CFS.
- Prepare, check, and coordinate export documentation such as invoice, packing list, shipping bill, BL draft, VGM, certificate of origin, phytosanitary/quality documents where applicable, and other shipment-related documents.
- Track shipment status from booking to vessel sailing and share regular updates with internal teams and customers.
- Follow up with CHA and forwarders to avoid delays in customs clearance, gate-in, documentation, and BL release.
- Maintain shipment trackers, cost sheets, document records, and vendor communication logs.
- Compare freight quotes from forwarders and help negotiate better rates and terms.
- Check and verify logistics invoices from CHA, forwarders, shipping lines, CFS, and transporters.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for payment follow-ups, export documentation, and shipment-related records.
- Support management in building better logistics systems, vendor panels, and shipment SOPs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in export logistics, freight forwarding, CHA coordination, or shipping documentation.
- Experience with sea export shipments, preferably FCL.
- Good understanding of export documentation and shipping processes.
- Prior experience working with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, or export companies.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Excel / Google Sheets for shipment tracking and cost comparison.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Basic understanding of Incoterms, HS codes, BL, shipping bill, CRO/DO, VGM, and vessel cut-offs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food, feed, agri, FMCG, chemical, pharma, or commodity exports.
- Experience with Nhava Sheva / JNPT export operations.
- Knowledge of Africa / Middle East export lanes will be an added advantage.
- Prior work experience with a CHA, freight forwarder, or export house preferred.

Work Location

The role will involve regular coordination with CHAs, forwarders, shipping lines, and internal teams. Candidates should be comfortable working from office and handling time-sensitive shipment coordination.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
