We Are Hiring: Officer – Fire & Safety
Location: The Amaryllis by Unity Group, New Rohtak Road, Karol Bagh, New Delhi
About the Project:
The Amaryllis is a premier luxury high-rise residential township spread across 40 acres in Central Delhi. We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and vigilant Fire & Safety Officer to lead fire risk management, emergency preparedness, life-safety operations, and regulatory compliance across the property.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fire Officer role based in New Delhi. The Fire Officer is responsible for overseeing fire safety measures across the facility, including conducting regular inspections of fire equipment, systems, and emergency exits. The role involves identifying fire hazards, implementing fire prevention strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and company policies. The Fire Officer will organise and deliver fire safety training and drills, maintain accurate records and incident reports, and coordinate with local emergency services when needed. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring fire detection and suppression systems, responding to fire and safety incidents, supporting risk assessments, and collaborating with operations and facilities teams to improve overall safety standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Fire Prevention and Fire Safety to identify hazards and implement proactive safety measures.
- Candidates should possess experience in Fire Safety Management to develop, enforce, and review fire safety policies, procedures, and emergency plans.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Fire Service operations to coordinate effectively with internal safety teams and external emergency responders.
- Candidates should possess experience in Emergency Services, including incident response, evacuation coordination, and post-incident reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering, HSE, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or State Fire Service Training is a plus.
- Strong understanding of local fire regulations and building safety codes applicable in New Delhi.
- Ability to conduct safety trainings, drills, and awareness programs for diverse teams.
- Attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and decisive during emergencies.
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years (Real Estate / High-Rise Residential / Commercial Facilities preferred)
