Job Title: Accountant
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage customer accounts, monitor receivables, maintain inventory records, and support order processing activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial and stock records while coordinating with customers and internal teams to maintain smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update customer records, account details, and transaction histories.
- Prepare and issue invoices, payment reminders, and account statements.
- Record and reconcile customer payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Maintain stock and inventory records, ensuring accuracy of stock movements and balances.
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams regarding stock availability and replenishment requirements.
- Process customer orders, verify order details, and ensure timely execution.
- Generate periodic reports on receivables, inventory levels, and sales orders.
- Assist in monthly account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
- Support management with administrative and accounting-related tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control and order processing procedures is preferred.
