Job Brief:
We are seeking an Embedded Testing Engineer to validate and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of embedded hardware and software systems. The candidate will develop test plans, execute functional and regression testing, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to deliver robust products.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end validation of embedded firmware and device functionalities
- Executefunctional,regression,integration,andsystemtestingactivities
- Validate networking, connectivity, and device configuration features
- Perform firmware upgrade/downgrade and OTA validation testing
- Analyze logs, identify defects, and coordinate with development teams for issue resolution
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Participate in requirement analysis and QA process improvements
- Work closely with R&D teams for integration testing
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Electronics or related field.
Experience & Skills:
- 1-3 years Strong experience in Embedded Firmware Testing
- Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Integration and System Testing
- Good understanding of Embedded Systems concepts
- Experience with Embedded microcontroller-based environments
- Knowledge of protocols such as SPI, UART
- Experience in firmware upgrade/downgrade and OTA testing
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with log analysis and defect tracking method
- Experience in test case design, execution, and reporting
