Job Title : Junior Interior Designer (Fresher)
Company : Maayish is a dynamic, fast-growing interior design and architectural firm specializing in residential spaces. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team and learn from our experienced professionals.
Role Summary : In this entry-level role, you will directly sit with the design team in all phases of the design process—from initial client meetings and concept development to site execution. You will gain hands-on experience in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, material sourcing, and vendor coordination, while bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design & Visualization: Assist in creating layout plans, space planning, and conceptual design ideas.
- Drafting & Modeling: Prepare clear and precise 2D floor plans, elevations, and detailed working drawings using CAD or Revit. Build 3D models and renders using SketchUp, V-Ray etc.
- Material Sourcing: Research and compile samples of materials, finishes, fabrics, and color palettes for client mood boards and presentations.
- Site Supervision: Accompany senior designers on site visits to take measurements, track construction progress, and verify that work aligns with design specifications.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office. Proficiency in Photoshop will be a plus point.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present ideas clearly.
- Aesthetic Sense: A strong eye for color, spatial arrangement, texture, and lighting.
- Attitude: A quick learner, self-starter, and collaborative team player who is passionate about design trends.
