Job Description – Safety Lead
Position: Safety Lead
Location: SHAR, Andhra Pradesh
Qualification: Diploma in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
Experience: 8–10 Years
Industry Preference: CPWD / Government Building Construction Projects
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor site safety procedures and HSE policies.
- Ensure compliance with CPWD safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Organize toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for workers and staff.
- Monitor PPE usage and enforce safety discipline at the construction site.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and safety authorities regarding safety compliance.
- Maintain safety records, permits, inspection reports, and other HSE documentation.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, firefighting arrangements, and first-aid facilities are available at site.
Requirements
- Diploma in HSE is mandatory.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in construction safety.
- Must have experience in CPWD / Government Construction Projects.
- Good knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment, work permits, and safety documentation.
- Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
