About the Role:
We are looking for a strategic and highly organized PPC Manager to synchronize our manufacturing capabilities with market demand. You will be the central link between Sales, Procurement, and Production, ensuring that our resources are utilized optimally to achieve 100% on-time delivery. The ideal candidate is a master of scheduling who can navigate complex supply chains and production constraints with ease.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Scheduling: Develop Master Production Schedules (MPS) and detailed Material Requirement Plans (MRP) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to minimize carrying costs while preventing stock-outs.
- Capacity Planning: Analyze plant capacity versus load; identify potential bottlenecks and suggest subcontracting or resource shifts to maintain flow.
- Material Coordination: Liaise with the Procurement department to ensure the timely arrival of raw materials and components based on the production timeline.
- Order Tracking: Monitor the progress of all work orders on the shop floor, providing real-time updates to the Sales and Management teams regarding dispatch dates.
- Data Analysis & ERP Management: Maintain and update production data within the ERP system, ensuring high data accuracy for reporting and decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Analyze production variances (planned vs. actual) and implement strategies to improve lead times and reduce manufacturing cycle time.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, preferably in an electromechanical or engineering-to-order environment.
- Expertise in MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar manufacturing software).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data modeling and complex scheduling.
- Deep understanding of lean manufacturing, JIT (Just-In-Time), and inventory management principles.
- Excellent communication skills to negotiate timelines across different departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; an MBA in Operations is a significant plus.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
