Sales Engineer – Instruments & Calibration Services

1–5 Years (Fresh Engineering Graduates with strong communication skills may also apply)
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities for instruments and NABL-accredited calibration services.
- Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, and field visits.
- Meet existing and prospective customers to understand their calibration requirements.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations.
- Follow up on quotations and negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with the calibration laboratory and operations team for timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
- Conduct product and service presentations to customers.
- Identify opportunities for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and recurring business.
- Stay updated on NABL standards, ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, and industry regulations.
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and customer engagement programs.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of calibration instruments and measurement principles.
- Understanding of NABL accreditation and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management abilities.
- Ability to travel extensively for customer visits.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
