Job Title: Solution Architect – PLM Test Automation

Role Overview
As a Solution Architect for PLM Test Automation, you will lead the design, development, deployment, and capability demonstrations of the Active Tester automation solution for PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) applications. Active Tester is built on Cucumber (BDD), Selenium (web applications), WinAppDriver (desktop applications), and OpenCV (desktop applications). You will work with prospective customers to understand their test automation needs, deliver effective demos, and clearly articulate how Active Tester meets those requirements and differentiates from alternative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
o Define end-to-end architecture for automating desktop test cases across multiple PLM desktop applications using Java libraries and, where appropriate, Python libraries.
o Design scalable, secure, consistent, and high-performance step definitions for PLM applications (desktop and web).
- Capability Presentations, Demos, and POCs
o Understand customer test automation requirements and present tailored Active Tester solutions and demos.
o Clearly articulate how Active Tester meets customer requirements and differentiates from other test automation solutions.
o Design and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) to demonstrate Active Tester capabilities.
- Implementation & Integration
o Lead Active Tester implementation projects, including installation, configuration, and customization.
o Integrate Active Tester with existing or new CI/CD pipelines and ALM applications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to automation engineers and other team members.
o Work closely with customer stakeholders to gather test automation requirements, objectives, and accordingly deliver tailored Active Tester solutions.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization
o Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the Active Tester solution.
o Continuously optimize consistency, performance, and user experience.
Skill Requirements
Required Skills
- 10+ years overall experience; 8+ years in test automation (Selenium, Cucumber).
- Core Java expertise (6+ years).
- OpenCV experience (4+ years).
- Python experience (2+ years).
- Desktop automation experience (2+ years): WinAppDriver, SikuliX, or similar tools.
- PLM application experience (1+ years).
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills; customer presentations/proposals.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams.
- CI/CD tool experience is a plus.
