Position: Network Operations Executive

About the Role
Zeon Charging is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Network Operations Executive to support the operation, monitoring, and optimization of our EV charging network. The role involves testing and managing the Charging Station Management System (CSMS), mobile applications, monitoring charger performance, identifying issues, and coordinating with internal teams for timely resolution.
The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good Excel proficiency, critical thinking ability, and a willingness to learn EV charging technologies and communication protocols across chargers, vehicles, CSMS, and the electrical grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the health and performance of EV charging stations through the CSMS platform.
- Perform functional testing and validation of the CSMS and mobile applications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate operational issues to the relevant technical teams.
- Track charger uptime, charging sessions, fault logs, and operational KPIs.
- Support day-to-day CSMS operations and ensure smooth network functioning.
- Coordinate with field service, software, and product teams to resolve charger and platform-related issues.
- Conduct testing and verification of chargers, mobile applications, and backend systems during deployments and software releases.
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and analysis using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain records of incidents, escalations, testing results, and corrective actions.
- Travel occasionally to charging sites for charger validation, field testing, and issue investigation.
- Continuously learn and understand communication flows between EV chargers, CSMS, vehicles, payment systems, and the electrical grid.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in operations, technical support, network monitoring, testing, or a related role (freshers with strong aptitude may also be considered).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and basic functions.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for testing and validation activities.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and power distribution.
- Exposure to EV charging infrastructure, charging protocols, or IoT systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with mobile application testing and web-based platforms.
- Understanding of charger-to-CSMS communication concepts (such as OCPP) is a plus.
- Ability to interpret logs, identify anomalies, and escalate issues effectively.
- Interest in learning EV ecosystem interactions involving chargers, vehicles, backend systems, and the power grid.
