Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the procurement team to ensure efficiency and performance
- Expand procurement categories through a strategic sourcing approach
- Handle procurement P&L, including cost control, budgeting, and margin improvement initiatives
- Manage sourcing and procurement activities, including imports and supplier negotiations
- Evaluate sales and inventory data to support demand forecasting and identify growth opportunities
- Support new product introductions in line with business strategy and assist in product development
- Drive cost optimization, track supplier performance, and ensure quality standards are met
- Improve procurement and import processes while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Define and monitor procurement KPIs aligned with overall business objectives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and ensure smooth execution
- Support hiring and management of procurement team members as required
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience in consumer product purchasing
- Experience in managing procurement categories
- Ability to lead teams with KPI & KRA tracking
- Basic understanding of P&L, cost control, and budgeting
- Experience in vendor sourcing and negotiation (including imports)
- Understanding of inventory management and demand planning
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
