Job Summary
The IT Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting the organization's day-to-day IT operations to ensure the smooth functioning of hardware, software, networks, and IT infrastructure. The role involves providing technical support, coordinating with internal departments and external vendors, maintaining IT assets, and ensuring compliance with IT policies and security standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Operations & Support
- Monitor and maintain daily IT operations and system performance.
- Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related incidents in a timely manner.
- Coordinate installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
Asset Management
- Maintain inventory records of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
- Track asset allocation, movement, and replacement requirements.
Network & Security Management
- Ensure network connectivity, internet availability, and system security.
- Support implementation and maintenance of IT security policies and standards.
- Monitor compliance with organizational IT policies and procedures.
Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), repairs, and issue resolution.
- Follow up with service providers to ensure timely completion of IT-related tasks.
Software & ERP Support
- Assist in ERP and business application implementation and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate software installations, updates, and licensing compliance.
Backup & Recovery
- Maintain data backup schedules and recovery processes.
- Ensure business continuity through proper backup management and restoration testing.
Employee IT Support
- Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including:
- System access creation and deactivation
- Email account setup
- Hardware allocation and retrieval
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare periodic reports on IT performance, incidents, and asset utilization.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation, records, and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and internet connectivity).
- Understanding of hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows and basic Linux.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and database fundamentals.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or IT coordination roles.
Preferred Competencies
- Knowledge of IT asset management practices.
- Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Experience in vendor management and IT procurement coordination.
- Familiarity with cloud-based applications and collaboration tools.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
