Role Overview
A Draughtsman with 3–5 years of experience is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans used in construction projects. They work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate design concepts into precise drawings that guide construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting & Design
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Develop detailed layouts for civil, structural, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Coordination
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to finalize designs.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
- Maintain updated drawing records and documentation.
- Technical Support
- Assist in preparing shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Interpret sketches, notes, and specifications into accurate technical plans.
- Support site teams with drawing clarifications.
- Quality & Compliance
- Check dimensions, materials, and procedures for accuracy.
- Ensure drawings meet safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain consistency across multiple project drawings.
- Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship.
- 3–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
