Position: Sample Preparation Technician

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Sample Preparation Technician to join our team at our NABL-accredited laboratory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and marking metal specimens accurately according to technical specifications and laboratory quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precision cutting of metal samples as per laboratory standards.
- Ensure accurate marking of TC Numbers and Sample IDs to maintain full traceability throughout the testing process.
- Handle cutting equipment safely and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Operate and set up lathe machines for metal cutting, turning, facing, drilling, and finishing operations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical instructions, and measurement specifications.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: ITI (Fitter / Machinist), High School, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience operating lathe machines.
- Previous experience working in a Metal Industry or a Material Testing Laboratory is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of machining tools, metal cutting, and turning operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and neat handwriting for clear sample identification.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
